“Several of my friends found partners on Dil Mil so I won’t criticize it much, but seems it
changed a lot since. Me personally I cannot find anyone there, people either
don’t answer to me or the app suggests the guys with the wrong location. It’s
such a disaster. I paid for VIP but it still gives me nothing, and its
technical issues are never going to be solved. I am going to find an

“I spent 6 months on this app and I used to go out with its help before, but not now. It
keeps on matching me with long-distance users and I am not getting any
responses from the girls. When I go to check their profiles, they appear
inactive or deleted. Am I trying to talk with the ghosts? There are no scammers
or bots and it’s a plus, but there’s no one to talk with and it’s a very big
minus. I may come back to Tinder and general dating apps, it obviously makes no
sense to be on specialized apps like this one.” (Vishad, 27)
Expert’s conclusion:
With such a big base of members and interesting features, we would gladly call the Dil Mil app 100%
legit and trustworthy (and “money” worthy, if we could say that). But all we
see is that their vast database is just an army of disappointed singles. There are
just a few positive reviews and success stories, and almost all of them address
to the old version of the app – “before the big update”. Obviously, it isn’t
just about updating and the whole team of Dil Mil seems to be changed as the
users simply aren’t getting the qualitative service anymore.
Unfortunately, it isn’t client-oriented starting from its strange, unclear, and ineffective
system of payments. High price isn’t always a sign of great quality. The
membership on Dil Mil isn’t expensive, but there are two kinds of it plus
separately paid Boosts. Judging from the reviews, paid versions change
literally nothing. The biggest problem of the app is the lack of active female
members, as the matching system keeps on suggesting inactive profiles. It’s a
frequent situation that men are buying VIP Elite membership to improve their
chances but there are never enough replies from women, still.
Southern Asians are a huge segment of dating market and they definitely deserve a decent and
helpful dating app. Dil Mil initially had all opportunities for that but didn’t
use them. The app is very buggy, customer support is often lazy and rude, even
design still isn’t perfected, so the question is, whether the developers will
bother to correct the things or not.
To honor the previously known success stories, we still recommend the Dil Mil app to the
target demography, but only its free version. We do not recommend to pay,
especially for the VIP Elite, as it change nothing and just wastes your nerves.
